The University of British Columbia Library is the library system of the University of British Columbia (UBC). In 2004, UBC Library ranked 22nd among members of the Association of Research Libraries.〔 UBC Library is one of the largest research libraries in Canada,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=About the Library )〕 with 15 branches and divisions at UBC and at other locations,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Hours and Locations )〕 including branches at Vancouver Hospital and Health Sciences Centre, and one at the UBC Okanagan campus. It is a depository library for publications of the governments of British Columbia (BC), Canada, Japan and the United Nations. The Library's collections of special and unique materials include the archives of Canadian author and artist Douglas Coupland,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Douglas Coupland collection )〕 the H. Colin Slim Stravinsky Collection (the largest collection of its kind in Canada, including more than 130 items documenting the work and life of Igor Stravinsky) and the Wallace B. Chung and Madeline H. Chung Collection,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Chung Collection website )〕 containing more than 25,000 rare and one-of-a-kind items relating to the discovery of BC, the development of the Canadian Pacific Railway, and Chinese immigration to Canada.
